New TV ads for Old Spice deodorant, as advertised by Jackie Moon, Will Ferrell's new character for his 70's ABA comedy, "Semi-Pro". Design/advertising geniuses Wieden + Kennedy (who also did the previous ads featuring Bruce Campbell...as well as you know, making Nike cool) did the commercial. I am not sure if their rebranding of Old Spice has any bearing on me purchasing Old Spice recently, but I do dig me some Old Spice. So, kudos on another brilliant ad campaign!
NOTE: I know I have been slacking on the updates but I promise the rest of the month I will feverishly update on a daily basis and to top it off, I will honor Black History Month by having each one of my posts dedicated to a person(s) of African descent. SAY IT LOUD!
Not quite as funky as "Superstition", but this song is bangin' nonetheless. That electro bassline is crazy. Plus it's got a pretty long harmonica solo....in a funk song. Plus it has nothing to do with reggae. Stevie was way ahead of his time.
